Alongside the European Business and Nature Summit (EBNS), which will take place in Milan on 11 and 12 October, KPMG will be holding a side event on the morning of 11 October. This 2-hour session, starting at 10:00 a.m., is conveniently located at the Hyatt Centric Hotel and scheduled so that those attending the EBNS can make their way on foot to Palazzo Lombardia, in good time for the start of the summit. Please note: this event is open to all and registration to EBNS is not required.
During the side event KPMG will provide an overview of nature and biodiversity topics for businesses, explaining how businesses and nature impact and depend on each other. Participants will also gain an understanding of the KPMG Global Network's contributions to sustainable practices, along with an overview of forthcoming frameworks. During the event we will also present KPMG's strategic approach to these frameworks, focusing on key upcoming regulations such as the ESRS E4 Biodiversity and Ecosystems Standard, the Regulation on Deforestation-free Products, the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDD), and EU Taxonomy.
The event is open to all (registration to the EBNS is not necessary); however, places are limited.
